Why we collect your personal information
As a registered training organisation (RTO), we collect your personal information so we can process and manage your enrolment in a vocational education and training (VET) course with us.
How we use your personal information
We use your personal information to enable us to deliver VET courses to you, and otherwise, as needed, to comply with our obligations as an RTO.
How we disclose your personal information
We are required by law (under the National Vocational Education and Training Regulator Act 2011 (Cth) (NVETR Act)) to disclose the personal information we collect about you to the National VET Data Collection kept by the National Centre for Vocational Education Research Ltd (NCVER). The NCVER is responsible for collecting, managing, analysing and communicating research and statistics about the Australian VET sector.
We are also authorised by law (under the NVETR Act) to disclose your personal information to the relevant state or territory training authority.
How the NCVER and other bodies handle your personal information
The NCVER will collect, hold, use and disclose your personal information in accordance with the law, including the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (Privacy Act) and the NVETR Act. Your personal information may be used and disclosed by NCVER for purposes that include populating authenticated VET transcripts; administration of VET; facilitation of statistics and research relating to education, including surveys and data linkage; and understanding the VET market.
The NCVER is authorised to disclose information to the Australian Government Department of Employment and Workplace Relations (DEWR), Commonwealth authorities, State and Territory authorities (other than registered training organisations) that deal with matters relating to VET and VET regulators for the purposes of those bodies, including to enable:
administration of VET, including program administration, regulation, monitoring and evaluation
facilitation of statistics and research relating to education, including surveys and data linkage
understanding how the VET market operates, for policy, workforce planning and consumer information.
The NCVER may also disclose personal information to persons engaged by NCVER to conduct research on NCVER’s behalf.
The NCVER does not intend to disclose your personal information to any overseas recipients.

Online Enrolment Terms and Conditions
This summary outlines your rights and obligations when enrolling with International Paramedic College (IPC). Full details are available on our Student Information Page.
1. Eligibility for Enrolment (Including Visa Requirements)
Enrolment at International Paramedic College (IPC) is open to students who meet the entry requirements for their chosen course and are legally entitled to study in Australia.
It is the student's responsibility to ensure they hold a valid visa that permits study with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) in Australia.
- IPC does not enrol international students on a student visa (subclass 500), as we are not a CRICOS-registered provider under the ESOS Act.
- Students on other visa types (e.g. working holiday, bridging, partner) must confirm their visa permits study with an Australian RTO.
- Visa documentation must be supplied upon request.
If you enrol without holding a valid visa that permits study, you do so at your own risk. Refunds will not be provided if your visa prevents course completion.
2. Payment, Transfers, and Refunds
All changes to enrolment must be made in writing via email. No changes will be accepted via phone, SMS, or other methods.

- Fees are non-transferable between individuals.
- Certificates are issued only after full payment is received.
- Manual payments may delay processing or certificate issue.
- Only the original booking contact may request changes for group/organisation bookings.
3. Refunds and Special Consideration
We offer fair and reasonable refund practices in line with the Australian Consumer Law. In exceptional cases (e.g. medical emergencies), a refund or course transfer may be considered upon written request and supporting evidence.

4. Course Entry Requirements and LLN
By enrolling, you confirm that you have reviewed and understand any applicable entry or Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) assessment requirements for your course.
5. Student Support and Reasonable Adjustment
You are required to notify us before enrolment if you have support needs, such as learning difficulties, disabilities, or access limitations.

6. RPL and Credit Transfer
You may apply for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) or Credit Transfer (CT) by providing appropriate evidence.

7. Complaints and Appeals
If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our service, you are entitled to submit a formal complaint or appeal.

8. Assessment and Academic Integrity
All assessments submitted must be your own original work. You confirm compliance with our Plagiarism and Use of AI Policy.
We may use plagiarism and AI-detection tools to validate authenticity.
9. Privacy and Data Collection
Your data is collected in line with the Privacy Act 1988 and the National VET Data Policy. It may be shared with NCVER or government agencies for research, reporting, and regulatory purposes.

10. Unique Student Identifier (USI)
You must provide a valid USI to receive your certificate. If you do not provide one, your results will not appear in the national USI registry.

11. Certificate Issuance
Certificates or Statements of Attainment will be issued within 30 days of competency if all course components are complete and fees are paid. All certificates are issued electronically with built-in verification tools.
12. Confirmation of Agreement
By enrolling, you confirm the following:
- You meet the physical and academic requirements of the course.
- Your assessment responses are your own original work.
- You authorise IPC to liaise with the USI Office or your employer regarding training records (unless otherwise notified).
- You understand and accept these Terms and Conditions, including all linked policies and fee conditions.
